Were in the cafe 03/09/19. I have not experienced such disappointment and shock for a long time. Service is not that at a low level it cannot be called service at all. 70 people served 2 waiters and slow motion, served hot almost cold, second hot served when everyone went for a break, while they were still preparing pizza to go and we inhaled these flavors although we were closed for special services. Musical companionship is generally a disaster. I do not recommend visiting this institution. Administration sound the alarm ...
Were in the cafe 05/03/18. Made an order under the program "Gastrofest". I liked everything, prepared quickly, served beautifully, very tasty. Another thing is that other dishes on the menu are more expensive than the average price in the city. And with alcohol questions, the choice is very small. But in general, everything is fine. We regularly visit the Panorama pizzeria. True, the last time was a few months ago. Everything was fine. Affordable prices, delicious menu, polite staff. So on March 10 we decided to treat ourselves. Were disappointed. Prices have grown, in principle, as elsewhere, but the taste of food has deteriorated significantly. Our assumptions came true. It turns out that the chef has changed. RETURN OLD, WAS DELICIOUS !!! Now I will not recommend this institution to my friends.
A good institution, for large and small companies, celebrated a family celebration in early July, we and our guests were satisfied, thanks for organizing our holiday))!

That's it, September 17, and it will be 888 years old for the city-museum, the city of kings, a city with a long history, a city that is filled with kind and welcoming people. Yes, yes, Grodno, this is about you. Happy Birthday, beloved city!
The history of our city dates back to 1128. Over the long years of existence, Grodno has experienced a lot. He was part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Commonwealth, the Russian Empire and the USSR. To find out Grodno better and plunge into its history, I offer you a virtual tour of the streets of our city.
We will start from the place where a wonderful view of the city opens. Using photographs from different times, you can see that the panorama of Grodno has not changed much. He was well able to maintain the appearance. But nevertheless, in a photograph of a new time, some details are missing.
Let's go downstairs and stroll along the bridge. Here we can notice the abandoned brewery. It was created in 1877 by an Austrian citizen, Joseph Kunz. Prior to this, the Oginsky Palace was located here. Nine years ago, brewing was still active in this building. In 2007, the last batch of beer was released. From this moment the building is empty.
After exploring the brewery, we go for a walk along the promenade. And inadvertently notice the "Ladder of Love." There is even a sign: a couple in love going down the stairs should count the steps, if at the end the numbers are the same for both, then they will have a long and happy life.
Climbing the "Ladder of Love" we find ourselves on Castle Street.
After a little more, we find ourselves on Sovetskaya Square. Here we notice the majestically beautiful Farny Catholic Church. In the XVIII century, it was a whole complex, which included: educational institutions, a library, a collegium, a pharmacy and many other objects. It was the richest complex in the entire Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
If you turn around and take a few steps back, you will notice a monument to Phare Vytautas. This temple is no longer with us, unfortunately. In 1389, by order of Vytautas, a wooden church was erected on this site. It existed until 1960, until it was decided to blow up the structure. And yes, now there are rumors that there is an underground city under Faro Vytautas.
And now we are heading along Sovetskaya Street and we notice one of the richest schools of the Russian Empire of the 18th-19th centuries. In 1835, it was transformed into a male gymnasium. And now this is an ordinary residential building.
Without departing far from the male gymnasium, we can meet many the forgotten Grodno cinema. Here is now located the Youth Center.
Having passed the alley of candy houses, we go to Lenin Square. The 9-story building of the regional executive committee immediately catches the eye. But few people know that these are two structures, simply attached to each other in 1980.
Near the regional executive committee, there was karchma, terraces on the banks of the Gorodnichanka. But later it all fell asleep, building Lenin Square.
To the left of the regional executive committee is the oldest cinema of the city - "Red Star". He is already over 100 years old. The opening took place during the First World War, in August 1915. This cinema is different from all in the city: it was built according to a special project as a cinema building. Throughout its existence, the name has changed repeatedly. The current one was appropriated after the Second World War.
Near the cinema is the well-known park named after Zhibiber. On its territory is hidden from the eyes of the people, the former medical academy. It was discovered by Anthony Tiesenhaus in 1775. This is the first higher educational institution in Belarus. The academy had a collection of 10,000 minerals, many unique herbariums, three hundred engravings with plant images, a library of three thousand volumes and an anatomical theater. The director of the Academy was appointed French scientist - J.E. Zhibiber.
But already in 1781, the Academy moved to Vilnius. Later, the building fell into the hands of the princes of Chetvertinsky. In Soviet times, there was a people's court.
Until 2014, the building was a military prosecutor. At the moment, the construction is empty and is looking for an investor.
The last station of our excursion will be the beloved, ivy-covered building. Now here is the Grodno University named after Yanka Kupala, which was opened in 1978. Prior to this, in 1860 there was a Mariana Grammar School for women. There, the daughters of officials, nobles, and clergy received education. After the October Revolution, the building was closed. In 1940, a teacher institute appeared here. After the war, it is transformed into a pedagogical one. Over the years, the building has always served educational purposes.
